The standard PCV system sends air, vapors, and oils back into the intake manifold. A Catch can will take what is being sent out through the PCV and separate any oils. It will then collect the oils and only send out air and vapors back into the intake manifold. Your engine may also run smoother and last longer. This is recommended if you are planning to tune your vehicle.
