Automatic transmission torque converter seal. Replace this seal when replacing your torque converter. This seal is placed in the pump housing between the pump and the torque converter. If you are leaking transmission fluid from your transmission bell housing this seal is the most likely cause. You may also need to replace your pump bushing. The pump bushing has a high failure rate in this transmission. It is located behind the seal.
